haha! i passed my driving on e first try... AT UBI!

a big " :P " at those who said its near impossible to pass first try at ubi... and i got e eunos MRT route too.. which i feel is e hardest, and i've ever gone once only... so i'm pleased... very pleased! haha!

but i was like dying during e start of e test.. my leg was damn tired cuz i had driven abt an hour b4 tt for warm up, doing all e half clutch things and my leg was really trembling badly when doing crank course and stuff... :/ and it was quite funny when i did my first obstacle.. e directional change. damn easy one rite? but i was blank minded or sth and reversed without turning... like... -.-'

n i didn't do safety check, so i minused 6 pts at e start... but somehow, somehow, i passed... LOL

then i've been driving around a bit... think my mum gets highly freaked when i drive... she's so not used to my driving and is damn excitable. and she makes me so ... i dunno... LOL. but anyway, BMWs are so hard to drive la... their engines are too powerful liao, stepping e accelerator a LITTLE makes it fly forward... :/

hmmm, in other news, planning for e NZ trip is coming along... hope it works out great! :) haha.

watched a rather disturbing movie today - Noriko's Dinner Table. it demonstrated suicide cults... n a different way of committing suicide. throwing away yr pass, and forgetting totally about it, refusing to admit it ever existed. death of yr pass... and of course, real death. and it also shows e sad side of lonely pple who cannot come to terms with various situations they are faced with, hence turn to rental families. apparently some of these things DO happen in japan... well, kinda freaky if u ask me. hmmm..

this is so laughable... our dearest MM Lee (what a title he made for himself there, so his presense will always be felt), claims tt our opposition is 3rd world standard.

while the PAP has been able to push us forward from 3rd world to 1st world economically in such a short time, culturally and our human rights, we're still stuck in 3rd world standard for sure. its truly embarrassing that we only have 1 newspaper, and we all know how much the content is controlled. no need for me to spell it out, but ranked 2nd last in the world, 1 spot above Iraq in terms of freedom of speech, it says a lot. our tv channels, BLOGS, internet forums, newspapers are all trolled or controlled by various organisations. sometimes, i feel like i'm still living in an era where there was a threat of communism, hence such measures had to be taken.

no internet marketing of politics.. why? because it undermines the elections.. ok, how about, because its hard to monitor? and yeah, i could go on, but i dun really wanna be arrested or sued or sth. no talking abt politics repeatedly on blogs, unless u register. well, i dunno about any other 1st world countries tt you can't talk abt almost anything you want..

well, 3rd world standard politics? hmmm... i wonder why this has happened. i agree with PM Lee tt the SDP is desperate, but only because they've been driven to desperation. by who or what? well, you tell me... ;)

but ultimately, the mandate is in the pple's hands. if they have so chosen, and overwhelmingly so, for the PAP, it gives them the power to decide what to do. but it so appears, that singaporeans are still as apathetic as ever, only concerned about the money they make. tt's life in singapore my overseas friends. treasure your freedom over there.

and for the record, Mr Chee will be broke once again.. ;)

i've recently rediscovered the joys of emailing... ;) too bad i wun have a desk job where i can email to my heart's content. sometimes, typing can be so much less tiring than talking. well, at least on some days ;)

anyhow, yet another week has passed... time is passing so bloody fast, its gonna be a month of my hols gone so darn quickly! and i was just marvelling at the stars as i was walking home just now, how we are looking at history millions of years old. yet my hols are gonna be history so soon.. :/ ok, i dunno wth i'm talking abt... O.o

oh tt's a photo of bday dinner with wp... and yes my hair was super blonde, and i've redyed it, after i couldn't take tt blotched job anymore... ;) haha... i like it way better now.. :) and yes, my hair didn't fall out.

so the past week has been fun.. going out out and out. for lunch, dinner, ermmm, lotsa places.. haha. i actually went back to RJ... and got my cert and yearbook! haha.. they kept it, and no fees! :) visiting the school and talking to the teachers was great... made me feel so nostalgic... :) hmmm, shall go back another day again... :) watched movies, lotsa them.. crap like hostel... audrey really has the worst taste in movies! i can't believe i spent an hour of my life watching a horror show tt was so comedic... ok, there was this scene, where this guy was trying to use a chain saw to kill this other guy. he had already sawed of 2 fingers, and as he was going back towards the guy.. HE SLIPPED! on those 2 fingers... and the chain saw fell on him and he writhled, and squirmed as the saw ate at him... LOL. wth was tt abt? hahaha. ok enough of tt.. haha.

i also watched closer and just like heaven, 2 movies i bought... far better than whatever aud bought... :X loved closer esp.. it really makes you think abt human relations, how fickleness can sometimes be our undoing, and how we dun really know sometimes, much abt the pple we're with, as much time as we spend with them. and basically, how humans have relationships now - the ease with which relations change, or even break off. ah, you know, i can't review movies well or pen down my thoughts well, maybe tt's why i'm no ong sor fen. shrugs.

of course, i've really been playing soo much tennis. sometimes i play well, but other times, when i'm not, i'm really bad. arggh.. i know what's wrong, but its turning out to be rather hard for me to fix... and competition is soon, i've just got to play more and practise more i guess. i dun even wanna get started on my staff vs student debacle of a match.. :X

hmmm, but what i really hope to do next week, is to pass my driving test. ahhh! i can't wait to finally be able to drive a car to somewhere, anywhere. public transport has been such a pain in the ass. what with all the stupid jams along round about routes, and 20min waiting times. bah.. I MUST PASS!

well, its been a while pple. been too busy to blog now adays... barely getting enough slp! :/ (new photoalbums added on e left)

anyways, i just watched a film tt moved me greatly. its called 'C.R.A.Z.Y.' and it was really really good. i know my descriptions aren't gonna do it any justice, so i'm not even gonna try to describe the plot. but basically, i felt the characters were so real, u could empathise with everything tt was happening, it wasn't over dramatic or anything, just real. how you feel abt each character does change a lil as the movie goes on, but u wun hate anyone because there is a vulnerable quality to each one of them, and in the end, you'd feel for them more than anything. directing, pace everything was spot on... its been a while since i watched anything tt was this good... :) haha, singapore film festival rocks!! :) thanks cm for e tix to the movies... :P

oh yeah, ytd, i watched another film, this time a czech one, called wrong side up. it was also excellent... and the actress was really stunning.!! porcelain skin, light blue eyes, and jet black hair... wow. but anyhow, tt one wasn't as good as C.R.A.Z.Y. , but certainly was still quite a show, and quite funny as well.. ;)

ytd, also had dinner with wp to celebrate her birthday! her parents missed her so much they flew her back from aussie for a 1.5 week easter hols! haha. but was nice to see her again, and the dinner was really nice, at chjimes, lei garden... though... ahem, the waitress spilled a lil food on me, and got really panicky, even the manager came to apologize. but i was a lil pissed at first... photos not with me, but nvm, ain't no photo whore! ;)

other stuffs tt happened over e week... hmmm, hair dying gone wrong. hahaha. stupid woman who did my hair made it a tad to blonde huh... ok, A LOT TOO BLONDE. darn it! arrrghh... dumbass. hmmm, my complexion worsens, as i get more exposure to the air on the streets and having less time to wash my face regularly... :/ bad bad.

went JB on monday i think.. was quite fun, though e trip WAY too short cuz michelle was insistent on hurrying back, afraid of a 'non-existent' queue at the causeway. bah.. whatever. but anyway, it was still fun anyhow, the go karting was a thrill, as u race around the tracks at devilish speeds of, what i think is abt 40km/h... ha. but still, feels fast cuz its open air.. boy, i can only imagine the thrill of riding a motorbike at 100km/h... :P hmmm, food was cheap and good, yummy foodstuffs all over. bought many cheap dvds... ;) and yes, no shopping cuz there was no time. aww.



the sugar cane juice was huge!! n mag n i had these small lil dunno what's in our mouth.. from mich's rose flavored soy milk. yeck! :/

back in sg, there we went wild and decided to KTV... haha, it was damn fun actually, though predominantly english, quite different from any ktv session i've been to. all the boybands and what nots sing so high, e guys usually get tired singing just a short while... ;) and yeah, a food fight erupted in e middle of the session, and i was e target. darn it.. was flooded with kachumputha or whatever tt is. in my pants, shirt and what nots. grr... all thanks to ian who sat on me so i couldn't move. haha.

hello pple... long time no see. i have decided to forsake my tv shows and xbox for a nite to blog... haha.

have been high e past few days! feels great meeting up with like everyone i wanted to meet for damn long, and finally doing it... thanks for being free everyone.. :)

after physio and a lunch a la mian xiao long bao, weili, ian, aud, me, ty and ks headed down to settlers. for most of them, it was their first time there.. think they had a lil fun, except tt e holland v branch doesn't have many games... ;)

anws, we played games like I'm the Boss... which i won one round stealthily, but was then quite unfortunate.. ;) and then proceeded to a new game, citadel (which aud can't spell on her blog).. audrey excelled in citadel, mainly because we couldn't predict what she was planning to do. her lone neuron's lack of activity completely befuddled us!! argh. and soo, she won!

the next round however... when she tried to think... she got quite puzzled and confused i think, and look at her face in tt pix! oops...

yup, and on thurs, finally gotta meet up with zp, and weili too... zp still as humorous as ever... ;) u know, in such lame ways.. tennis with cm n yuan, boy do i suck now... DIE!!! tennis tennis!! fri left an ugly scar on my leg!!! went rollerblading with rouan, hon, em, weili n kenneth, and it was like my calves are too small and e stupid thing can't be tightened, and it kept abrading till i have a huge wound tt is still bleeding after days cuz its at this part of e leg tt stretches alot, so e would finds itself hard to heal. ahhh. but not bad for my first time, i did v well... managed to go all e way to bedok jetty and back though i was freaking tired after tt!! nite was a movie at e new cathay with mich n aud.. 'The New World', great cinematography, abliet a vvv slow plot... e new place is quite cool, can order pasta, pizza and lotsa food into e cinema! and they deliver it in, yummy! :) went arcade to play bishibashi, and i really sucked. but its such a brainless game, no wonder they are so much better... :P

sat was lunch with nick and weili, and ate at this jap restaurant... it was quite nice... and i loved e desert! yummy! it was at marina square, next to billy bombers, i dun remember e name as i'm quite bad with jap names, so whatever. played pool shopped etc... ;) nice meeting so many pple again... :))))

today, tennis was a disaster. sighs, must start getting back into shape... :( then watched million dollar baby in afternoon... it was a touching movie. tt bitch who caused maggie to be injured is a #$#($)!!! really nice movie.. loved it... :)

and yeah, long awaited class outing!! celebrated aaron's n mag's belated bdays as well.. :)

we, mag, claire, wk, yx, pc, aaron, ws, mich went marina bay to eat steamboat.. think we went to e worst one (which we went for our v first outing i think... n i remembered it sucked).. but somehow we ended up there??! i dunno how or why. we must be mad.. ;) LOL

oh yeah... in addition to tt lamborghini post... i saw e other one in my condo e next day after i saw e yellow one. this time its an orange one!! and i was in my dad's car, so i got a feel, or rather, a see of how the car moves and all. simply quite amazing. its really really flat, like a door wedge as weili puts it, and ermm, it zips round like a fly! and accelerates so fast... wow. the sound its engine makes is divine... and it was a woman driving it... so lucky! young and rich... :P

oh, and my fellow friend managed to find a copy of the union ball, which i took part in like damn long ago... here's a group shot. man, it was so much fun... :)

yeah, alrite... studying's been going like shit. dun even bother asking abt it. i hate my brain. bah. it doesn't like to remember too many things.

oh, and this company, called UAN, united artistes network has been phoning me up. k la, twice. once in march asking me to meet their consultant, and i said i had CAs and told them to call me up in april. yeah, and they said their consultant might be overseas, but somehow, promptly, first april, they called again. i told them i had exams... LOL. then he said just 0.5h, and i said dun want. then he asked if i had prior acting, dancing or singing exp. i was like, yeah rite. but then he said, but e person who saw u on the street said u had a 'ming xin lian'... -.-' i was thinking, like what use is tt if i can't act, dance or sing... so i just told them, i'm not interested and said bye.

which got me thinking... do they choose their 'talent' by talent or by looks... :/ oh but they told me they managed fiona xie and jeanette aw... so i'll let u judge... ;)

but then i realise i had nothing to do during hols, so maybe it'd have been fun if they sent me for some dance or acting classes... haha. oh well, too late now. bah. good luck all who have exams coming. all e best! :)

Battle at Megaville - haha, its this silly game, quite hard to finish. i can't get past SHIRA Bell (not shera), and she's like this boss thing from levels 6-10... so if anyone can beat her, tell me. i only tried level 8 upwards... :P
